🇺🇸 In letters to U.S. President Donald Trump and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the victims’ families stated that any peace agreement regarding Ukraine must include Russia’s acknowledgment of its guilt.
🛑 They emphasized their demands to Russia — an official recognition of its role in the tragedy, an apology, and a public investigation.
🇳🇱 The Dutch government supports these demands, and the relatives of the deceased stress that they should be part of any peace settlement. “Without this, there can be no reliable peace with Russia,” they stated.
📑 Copies of the letters were also sent to Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, relevant parliamentary committees, and European diplomacy chief Josep Borrell.
