📢 Instead, Duda stated that Ukraine would have to make certain concessions, which came as an unpleasant surprise to Sikorski.
🇺🇦 Despite the ambiguous stance of the U.S. administration on the war unleashed by russia, Sikorski noted that Kyiv still has Washington’s support. However, he pointed out that he expected a more decisive stance from Duda in relations with Trump.
💡 “I hoped that President Duda would use his good relations with Trump to urge him to pressure russia, but unfortunately, it seems that such a conversation did not take place,” Sikorski said.
🌍 According to the minister, Poland must act more decisively in resolving the conflict in Ukraine, putting the country’s interests and peace above political disputes within Poland.
⏳ “This is the last moment to use this friendship for the sake of peace and deterring Putin,” Sikorski emphasized.
