🤝 Duda also emphasized the continuation of the initiative to deploy American nuclear weapons on Polish territory. According to him, the concepts of cooperation with France and the U.S. do not contradict each other: “We can adopt both decisions.”
🇪🇺 Earlier, Prime Minister Donald Tusk mentioned “serious negotiations” with French President Emmanuel Macron regarding the use of France’s nuclear potential to protect European allies.
⚠️ Despite this, Poland may face legal difficulties, since the French nuclear shield operates outside NATO guarantees, and Warsaw has signed the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons.
📄 Currently, Paris and Warsaw are preparing a bilateral agreement covering defense, nuclear energy, and scientific cooperation.
