📅 According to Vadym Skibitsky, Deputy Head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, North Korean soldiers began participating in combat in December 2024. They suffered serious losses—about 4,000 out of 11,000—so they were temporarily withdrawn from the front for recovery. However, by February, they were re-deployed to the fighting.
🛰️ Skibitsky noted that North Korean soldiers are gaining valuable combat experience, particularly in working with new technologies and tactics, using artillery with drones, as well as deploying FPV drones and reconnaissance systems. This is a unique experience that only a few countries in the world possess, including Ukraine, Russia, and North Korea.
💥 North Korean weapons, including 170mm artillery systems and multiple rocket launchers, are already being used in Ukraine. Additionally, North Korean military personnel are assisting Russia in planning missile strikes.
🚢 Ukrainian intelligence continues to track the delivery of North Korean ammunition to Russia, arriving by sea and by rail, then being sent directly to the front lines.
