The restrictions apply to legal entities that service Russia’s tanker fleet and are involved in transporting sanctioned Russian oil.
Sanctions were also imposed on Kremlin propagandists and individuals involved in cyberattacks against Ukraine and its partners.
“We are countering all attempts by the Russian regime to destabilize the situation in Ukraine,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
The President noted that work is ongoing to synchronize Ukraine’s sanctions with the EU’s sanctions policy. Last week, the European Union synchronized restrictions against six Russian propagandists.
In addition, European partners are working on the 20th package of sanctions against Russia, which is expected to be adopted at the end of February.
