Recently, Tusk urged Western societies to recognize that the war in Ukraine is not someone else’s conflict, but “our war.” In response, Orban accused the Polish Prime Minister of trying to drag Europeans into a conflict with Russia.

Tusk emphasized that the mutual criticism between the two leaders regarding the war has been well known for many years. “Viktor Orban believes there is no war. I believe there is a war. The real question is not whether the war exists, but who is on whose side,” he said.

According to the Polish Prime Minister, the positions of Poland, NATO, and Europe are clear, and unfortunately, Orban’s position is also evident. However, Tusk noted that this does not prevent conducting normal dialogue and that he strives to maintain a civilized conversation with European partners while controlling emotions.
