Currently, the maximum fine for citizens is 25,500 hryvnias, although the actual amount depends on the circumstances of each case. This was stated in a comment to the media by military lawyer Dіana Ternova from the law firm “Prykhodko and Partners.”

According to the specialist, the fine for violating military registration during martial law is not fixed and is determined individually. It usually ranges from 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias, although the maximum amount is not imposed often.

She explained that TCR and SSC have discretionary powers in determining the fine amount, meaning they can take into account the circumstances of the case and the degree of the violation.

The amount is influenced by various factors, including whether it is a first-time violation, as well as the person’s behavior — for example, whether they evaded registration or changed their place of residence without notification.

At the same time, the lawyer emphasized that violations of mobilization legislation may result not only in administrative but in some cases also criminal liability, which can have significantly more serious consequences.
