Ukraine’s defense industry already has competitive products that could attract European partners, said NAUDI CEO Serhiy Honcharov during the discussion panel “Eurointegration: Challenges and Opportunities” at the “Business and Eurointegration” forum.

Honcharov emphasized that European integration for Ukrainian defense companies is not only an opportunity to enter a new market but also a chance for strategic partnerships with European manufacturers. According to him, Ukraine’s defense industry has undergone a major transformation during the years of war and is now ready to offer products competitive on the European market.
He also stressed that Ukrainian legislation already provides sufficient tools to enable the export of defense products, and entrepreneurs have the necessary experience to operate in foreign markets. At the same time, Honcharov warned against excessive regulation and additional procedures that could slow industry development and reduce competitiveness in international trade.
He additionally noted that demand for Ukrainian defense products is growing in traditional foreign markets, particularly in the Middle East.
