According to Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, the government suspended 25 agreements, denounced three, and withdrew from 88 treaties. Among them, five concern Russia, 23 – Belarus, 87 – the CIS, as well as one trilateral agreement between Ukraine, Russia, and Belarus.

Sybiga emphasized that Ukraine’s legal treaty framework must correspond to the new European security architecture and the war on its territory. He stressed the need to eliminate anything that could weaken Ukraine and sever any ties with the aggressor state, forming a strategic and long-term line of defense on its eastern border.
