During a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Donald Trump claimed that the US had provided Ukraine with over $300 billion in military aid. In reality, according to the Kiel Institute for the World Economy and the US Inspector General, total aid from 2022 through June 2025 amounts to approximately $134–185 billion, including actual expenditures and US funding.

Trump also incorrectly included inflation for Americans, losses from sanctions against Russia, and rising fertilizer prices as part of “aid,” which are not funds allocated to Ukraine.
Additionally, Trump repeated false claims about mail-in voting, asserting that the US is supposedly the only country using it and that it makes the democratic process impossible. In fact, dozens of countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Australia, and Switzerland, use mail-in voting, and experts confirm that the level of fraud in US federal elections is extremely low.
Trump also incorrectly cited the findings of the Jimmy Carter Commission, which did not claim that absentee voting invalidates elections. Over time, even Carter and his organization supported the use of mail-in ballots, provided there is proper planning and security.
