The United Kingdom’s Secretary of Defense, John Gilley, announced additional funding of half a billion pounds to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense systems.

According to Gilley, this decision was made ahead of the NATO defense ministers’ meeting in Brussels. He emphasized that the United Kingdom acts as a “force for good in the world” and is shaping a new agreement to ensure European security within NATO.
The minister also stated that the UK will double the number of marines in the north and expand the scope of major military exercises.
In addition, Gilley confirmed the country’s participation in NATO’s Arctic Sentry mission, aimed at strengthening security in the region.
