📍 The Security Service of Ukraine has identified two Russian servicemen who gave the order to execute a Ukrainian prisoner near Staromaiorske (Donetsk region) in June 2024. The individuals are Deputy Battalion Commander Shotu Karapetyan (“Yustas”) and Assault Company Commander Dmitry Chikhabakh (“Sber”).

🪖 According to the investigation, on June 17, the occupiers ordered the shooting of a Ukrainian soldier, decapitation, and placing the head on an armored vehicle. They also demanded that no Ukrainian fighters be taken prisoner, but instead, be destroyed on the spot.
⚖️ The SBU has charged the suspects under Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — violations of the laws and customs of war. Efforts are ongoing to search for them and bring them to justice.
