According to her, on March 11, ambassadors of EU member states approved sanctions against 19 more officials and organizations of the Iranian regime responsible for human rights violations.
“As the war in Iran continues, the EU will protect its interests and pursue those responsible for internal repression,” Kallas emphasized. She added that the European Union is sending a clear message to Tehran: the country’s future cannot be built on repression.
