According to Euractiv, citing a diplomat, the presentation of the new package of restrictions is planned to be timed to this date.
The initiators of strengthening the sanctions are Finland and Sweden. They propose expanding the ban on the export of luxury goods to Russia, introducing additional restrictions on servicing oil tankers, and reducing quotas for imports of Russian fertilizers.
