💼 The individuals removed from the list include:
- Vladimir Rashevsky, former head of “Eurochem”
- Gulbahor Ismailova, sister of billionaire Alisher Usmanov
- Vyacheslav Moshe Kantor, businessman and former head of the European Jewish Congress
- Mikhail Degtyaryov, Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation
🔍 According to a diplomatic source, the decision to remove certain individuals from the sanctions list sparked debates among EU countries, as even changing one name required unanimity.
💳 On March 14, the EU also expanded its sanctions list, adding around 2,400 new individuals and organizations. This includes travel bans, asset freezes, and restrictions on the provision of financial resources.
