🇬🇧 The European Union and the United Kingdom are discussing accelerating arms deliveries to Ukraine amid a possible ceasefire.

🗣️ UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy stated that he discussed this issue with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas during a meeting in London on March 18, as well as at the G7 summit in Canada.
💬 “We want peace to win, but we achieve peace through strength,” Lammy emphasized.
⚠️ He also warned that putin must not be allowed to use the ceasefire to rearm his army and urged russia to unconditionally halt hostilities.
