🤝 The leader of “European Solidarity” and the fifth President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, held an important meeting with the ambassadors of the G7 countries and the EU at the initiative of Canada.

🕊️ During the meeting, they discussed the situation on the front lines and progress in negotiations to end the war and achieve a just peace in Ukraine. Poroshenko emphasized the need for joint action by Ukraine and its allies and thanked France, the United Kingdom, and Germany for their leadership in peace initiatives.
⚖️ However, he also stressed the fundamental “red lines” for Ukrainian society, highlighting that Ukraine needs a just peace, not capitulation or rewarding the aggressor.
⚠️ Poroshenko drew attention to threats to democracy in Ukraine, particularly the authorities’ attempts to restrict political pluralism, media freedom, and judicial independence. He called on international partners to continue monitoring the democratic situation in Ukraine and to support democratic institutions.
