🔹 Beta testing will take place in October–November 2025. At this stage, incoming and outgoing SMS will be available.
🔹 Full launch is planned by the end of 2025. Later, users will also gain access to mobile internet and calls via VoLTE.
“The smartphone automatically connects to the satellite signal when there is no ground coverage. The network name Kyivstar SpaceX will appear on the screen — and you can use it,” the company explained.
📱 At first, the technology will work only on Android, and later on iOS as well.
💰 Tariffs will remain unchanged — SMS, minutes, and gigabytes will be charged under the regular model. During the testing period, usage will be free.
👨💻 How to join the test:
- You need a 4G SIM from “Kyivstar”;
- A smartphone with 4G support on Android;
- An application can be submitted online, followed by instructions.
🌍 Restrictions:
- The technology will be unavailable in Dnipropetrovsk and Chernihiv regions;
- Restrictions will apply in occupied territories and combat zones.
