Morning didn’t start with coffee. It started with a new scandalous interview of Mendel. And it’s a full package.

That Zelensky is emotionally unstable, often hysterical, and considers every person to be disposable.
That Zelensky has no empathy — he only pretends to have it.
That Zelensky cracks down on critics of the authorities and that the situation in Ukraine resembles the film “How to Become a Tyrant.”
That Zelensky uses drugs.
That Zelensky is deliberately prolonging the war in order to stay in power and get more money.
That Zelensky repeatedly told her that “Ukraine is not ready for democracy” and that “dictatorship is order.”
That in 2019 Zelensky allegedly promised Putin that Ukraine would never join NATO.
And finally, that during the negotiations in Istanbul Zelensky personally was ready to hand over Donbas to Moscow.
Of course, the Presidential Office has already stated that Mendel lied about everything and that she is generally unbalanced. Unbalanced? Then how did she become Zelensky’s press secretary? Or was Mendel considered balanced when she attacked journalists who asked Zelensky uncomfortable questions? It seems that back then, in the Presidential Office, Mendel was considered completely adequate.
But that’s not the point. Yes, Mendel may lie for PR purposes — she has already made claims about Yermak and black magic (although who knows what comedians there get up to?).
The most striking thing for me was WHOM Mendel gave the interview to.
Mendel said all this in an interview with Tucker Carlson — the same one who interviewed Putin and does not hide his sympathy for him. Moreover, in the interview Mendel also addressed Putin in Russian.
What does this remind me of? It reminds me of deputies of various levels from “Servant of the People” who rushed to serve the occupiers. And there are quite a few of them. I wouldn’t be surprised if the former press secretary now gives an interview to Solovyov or Skabeeva.
Once again, from Zelensky’s close circle, it started to smell like bast shoes.
The sad reality is that Mendel’s interview with Carlson will be heard both in Europe and in the USA. For local pro-Putin supporters, this interview is a gift from fate. Abroad, it will be perceived as an interview with the former press secretary of Zelensky, who had access to the sacred — information policy and communication with the press. Abroad, few people care why the president’s press secretary turned out to be an “unbalanced woman.”
It is not hard to guess how the interview of Zelensky’s former press secretary will affect aid to Ukraine.
But she is former — you might say. Exactly.
But let me remind you. It is precisely the propagandists of the current government who regularly reproach Petro Poroshenko for former supporters. And yes, it is precisely supporters of Zelensky of all kinds who regularly quote lies about Poroshenko authored by traitor Derkach, accused of treason Dubinsky, Moscow’s servants Portnov and Shariy, etc. The fact that such statements stink of bast shoes from a kilometer away is irrelevant to Zelensky’s supporters.
And the West doesn’t care about all this at all. Do we listen to interviews with former ministers, officials, press secretaries there? Exactly. It happens. You see less of it.
