🧭 It is nothing more than an information-psychological operation (IPSO): we are not attractive to labor migrants from around the world, — Head of the Migration Policy Office Voskoboynik

🧭 Це не більше, ніж ІПСО: Ми не цікаві для трудових мігрантів зі всього світу, - голова Офісу міграційної політики Воскобойник

The Head of the Migration Policy Office, Vasyl Voskoboynyk, stated that Ukraine is currently not an attractive country for foreign labor migrants due to a number of economic and logistical reasons.

According to him, the main factors are low wages, complicated logistics, and the need to obtain not only a work visa but also a transit visa, which significantly complicates entry for foreigners.

Voskoboynyk explained that even to reach Ukraine from Asian countries, a person often has to fly through third countries, including Warsaw or Chișinău, and obtaining a transit visa is a complex procedure.

He also noted that even after arrival, employment risks remain high due to ongoing hostilities.

“Let’s be honest: even if a person enters Ukraine, any missile or drone strike — and an enterprise can simply disappear,” he said.

In his view, under such conditions Ukraine will objectively remain among the last countries chosen by foreign workers for employment.

Separately, he commented on reports about a supposed mass influx of migrants, calling them an element of informational influence.

According to Voskoboynyk, such claims on social media may be part of an information campaign aimed at increasing social tension and division in society, rather than reflecting the real situation.
