🔍 In the “Mindich tapes,” references were found to offshore structures and business with Russians during the war: investigation

🔍 У “плівках Міндіча” знайшли згадки про офшори та бізнес із росіянами під час війни: розслідування

Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak has announced new details in the so-called “Mindich tapes” case, which may indicate links between Timur Mindich and Russian business during the full-scale war. According to the MP, the materials involve offshore structures, a synthetic diamond laboratory, and possible continued cooperation with a Russian businessman until at least July 2025.

Synthetic diamond business

At the center of the investigation is the synthetic diamond laboratory “Alkor-D,” which operated on the basis of the Kyiv plant “Izumrud.” According to Zhelezniak, the formal owner of the company was the offshore entity Forward Power Investments from the Seychelles.

The MP claims that real beneficiaries of the business were hidden through this structure.

“Back then we could not identify the owners of the offshore company because the registries were closed. But the new transcripts gave us the answer,” Yaroslav Zhelezniak said.

According to him, new fragments of conversations between Timur Mindich and Viktoriia Dedishcheva made it possible to identify possible involvement of Russian businessman Teymuraz Khikhinashvili in the structure.

What the new “Mindich tapes” contain

Zhelezniak claims that one of the recordings discusses preparing the company “Alkor-D” for bankruptcy and the issue of removing non-residents from the corporate structure.

“We’ve basically already wound everything down and prepared it for bankruptcy… we need to resolve issues with non-residents… Forward and Finrod are part of the deal with Khikhinashvili,” reads a fragment of the conversation cited by the MP.

According to him, it is notable that the issue of the Russian businessman exiting the offshore structure allegedly began to be resolved only in July 2025.

Links with Russian business

The MP also stated that his team previously identified a company in Russia called New Diamond Technology, which was engaged in the production of synthetic diamonds.

According to Zhelezniak, the ownership structure of this company allegedly indicated joint business between Timur Mindich and Teymuraz Khikhinashvili.

He claims that the Russian company, through the Luxembourg offshore Mineral Asset Corporation, was owned by them on a 50/50 basis.

The MP also stated that Mindich officially exited this structure only in December 2024.

Personal contacts and SBU reaction

The investigation also mentions personal contacts between families. According to Zhelezniak, in 2023 the husband of Mindich’s sister flew from Warsaw to Tel Aviv together with Teymuraz Khikhinashvili.

The MP considers this further evidence of continued contacts between the parties.

“It seems Mindich was not concerned at all that he was sharing a business in Kyiv with a businessman from an aggressor country, even while Ukraine is under constant shelling,” Zhelezniak said.

He also stated that his team has submitted the investigation materials to the Security Service of Ukraine.

“I hope the SBU will add this to the materials of our previous investigation. And perhaps at least here they will have questions,” the MP said.

Zhelezniak also emphasized that if the reported facts are confirmed, this could potentially indicate a violation of legislation regarding economic cooperation with an aggressor state.
