At the 30th meeting in the “Ramstein” format, Ukraine received a clear signal that international support will continue and strengthen.

Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that the EU confirmed the delivery of 2 million ammunition units, of which 80% has already been assembled. The possibility of allocating €6.6 billion from the EU Peace Fund for the purchase of American weapons, investments in the defense industry through the SAFE mechanism, and an additional €8 billion in October–November is also being considered.
Among the key commitments from partners:
- Germany will deliver two Patriot systems, invest €500 million in PURL, and allocate €300 million for Ukrainian long-range drones;
- The United Kingdom will finance the production of thousands of long-range strike drones for Ukraine;
- Norway announced $8 billion in support in 2026 and the completion of contracts for interceptor drones;
- Denmark is launching a joint enterprise with Ukraine for the production of long-range weapons;
- Canada is allocating $500 million to PURL, $220 million for drones and other aid, and $165 million for the development of coalition capabilities;
- Sweden, Lithuania, the Czech Republic, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Latvia, and France also confirmed significant aid packages, including ammunition, equipment, pilot training, and support for F-16 and PURL programs.
Shmyhal thanked partners for the productive meeting, specifically noting the United States for launching the format, UK Defense Minister John Healey and German Minister Boris Pistorius, as well as NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte for the PURL initiative.
“Solidarity of the free world and systematic support for Ukraine’s Defense Forces are the key guarantees of a long-lasting and just peace,” Shmyhal concluded.
