The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has developed a new algorithm that will significantly speed up the process of awarding military personnel with state honors for combat achievements.

Previously, the process took from 3 to 8 months due to the large number of agencies involved and the manual processing of documents. Now, the military unit will send the award materials to its military command authority, which will immediately forward them to the Armed Forces leadership for consideration. At each stage, the document will be reviewed for no more than two days, after which it will be sent to the Office of the President.
Thanks to the new approach, the procedure will take only 8–16 days. The Ministry of Defense is also working on enabling the certificate of a state award to be viewed in the “Diia” application.
