📉 Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko stated in an interview with Bloomberg that the level of corruption in Ukraine is often exaggerated domestically. According to her, while most citizens consider corruption widespread, far fewer people actually encounter it.

🗣️ “This issue is exaggerated and overly inflated within Ukrainian society and certain social groups,” she emphasized.
🌍 At the same time, Svyrydenko pointed out that international partners assess the situation based on different criteria.
🧾 The Prime Minister also explained the Cabinet’s refusal to approve the candidate for the head of the Bureau of Economic Security, proposed by the IMF and the European Commission: the decision was made collectively and returned to the selection commission in accordance with the procedure.
