German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful stated that Germany will contribute to security guarantees for Ukraine in the event of a peace agreement, the ministry’s press service reports.

Wadeful did not specify the exact measures Berlin would take but emphasized that Germany currently does not plan to deploy troops in Ukraine as part of post-war guarantees. Negotiations on security guarantees continue among the participants of the so-called “coalition of the resolute.”
