According to the “Government online” statement, the additional payment is intended for individuals who:

📝 How to confirm eligibility for the payment

Pensioners who want to receive the additional payment must undergo an automatic verification. No additional documents are required. The State Migration Service will check whether the individual actually lived in the contaminated zone. The data on this should be entered into the Unified State Register of Persons Affected by the Chernobyl Disaster.

If the data is missing from the Register, the person must contact the local department of the State Migration Service with documents confirming their residence in the resettlement zone from 1986 to 1993 (passport or house book).

The additional payment will be credited monthly along with the pension and will be sent to the same account.
