🌍 “We can ensure the security of the country by demonstrating predictable and consistent behavior, building reliable partnerships with neighbors – Romania and Ukraine – and other countries that respect international law and state borders,” emphasized Sandu.
🕊️ She also stressed that Moldova remains a supporter of peace and diplomatic solutions, but at the same time pointed out the threats posed by the Russian military presence in Transnistria.
⚠️ “Moldova is a small country, on whose territory there is a foreign army. This concerns the illegal deployment of a Russian military contingent in the Transnistrian region, which is a gross violation of our neutral status. The presence of the Russian army on our land creates risks of destabilization, especially in the context of the war in Ukraine,” noted the President.
