🇵🇱 Millions for satellite communication: how much Poland spends on Starlink for Ukraine

💬 As of March 3, 2025, Poland has ordered almost 25,000 Starlink terminals for Ukraine and is covering their maintenance until September 2024. This important initiative, launched in 2022, aims to provide stable communication in Ukraine, particularly for the Armed Forces and government institutions.

💰 Maintenance costs for the terminals range from 5,500 to 14,000 UAH per month, and Poland covers two main subscription packages each month – the standard tariff (5,500 UAH) and the special tariff (14,000 UAH).

📅 The financing program will continue until September 2025, according to the Polish law “On Aid to Ukrainian Citizens.” After that, further funding will depend on political decisions.
