🗣️ Macron told journalists that it is impossible to expect Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to agree to ceasefire conditions while his capital is being bombed. He emphasized that “the U.S. anger should be directed at one person — putin.”
⚖️ Macron added that the russian dictator, while claiming to want peace in negotiations with the U.S., continues to bomb Ukraine, which is a clear violation of peace initiatives. He stressed that if russia rejects a ceasefire, it should face consequences.
🌍 The French leader also expressed support for U.S. diplomatic efforts but noted that russia is the “only aggressor” in this war. Macron mentioned that if russia agrees to peace, a just and lasting peace could be achieved, ensuring territorial concessions and security guarantees.
🚨 As a result of the massive attack on Kyiv on April 24, at least 9 people were killed, and more than 100 were injured to varying degrees. The most damage occurred in the Svyatoshyn district, where a multi-story building was partially destroyed.
