📺 In an interview with Fox News after talks at the White House, Macron emphasized that a simultaneous trade war with both China and Europe does not serve US interests. “I hope I convinced him (Trump),” he said.
💼 The French leader stressed that China’s trade challenge is the primary concern for Washington, while economic tensions with the EU would only weaken America’s position. He urged Trump to refrain from imposing new tariffs.
🤝 In addition to his meeting with Macron, Donald Trump will welcome UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to the White House on February 27.
