⚔️ The MANPADS were delivered amid growing tensions between India and Pakistan following the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22, which resulted in the deaths of 26 people.
💥 The new systems have already arrived at the army air defense units and are being deployed in potential conflict zones with Pakistan. They will be used to protect against aircraft, attack helicopters, and unmanned systems.
🛡️ The Igla-S MANPADS play a key role in India’s air defense system. In addition, the country has announced a tender for the purchase of 48 more launchers and about 90 VSHORADS missiles on an expedited basis.
