⚖️ “The Core Group marks the completion of preparatory expert work on legal documents for the establishment of a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine, which will be able to hold accountable those most responsible for this international crime,” the foreign ministers’ statement reads.
🌍 The statement also notes that the Core Group urges other countries and international organizations to join the efforts and actively support the tribunal’s activities.
📅 As a reminder, a few months ago, in February, the European Commission reported that legal experts from Ukraine, 37 countries, the European Union, the EU’s External Action Service, and the Council of Europe had “laid the legal foundations for the establishment of a Special Tribunal for the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine.”
