⏳ Funding for new arms deliveries was stopped a few weeks ago following the freezing of foreign aid. However, the decision to stop the supply of weapons from the reserves was made after a meeting between Trump and Zelensky at the White House.
❌ At the end of January 2025, the Trump administration ordered the cessation of all foreign aid, including military assistance, except for Israel and Egypt.
🇺🇸 U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio signed a decision that could have exempted Ukraine from this ban, but due to bureaucratic delays with the State Department’s letter, the aid was not provided.
⚔️ Ukraine could receive weapons from the U.S. through programs like Foreign Military Financing and the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, but currently, funding for these programs is absent.
🕰️ According to WSJ sources, without a new aid package, Ukraine will be able to maintain the current level of combat operations until mid-2025. European allies and the development of Ukraine’s defense-industrial complex may partially compensate for the weaponry shortfall.
