🗣️ According to Moulton, Zelensky could have been even more forceful in putting them in their place. He called Trump and Vance cowards and puppets, emphasizing that the situation clearly highlighted the contrast between them and the Ukrainian leader, whom he considers a hero.
📢 The senator made this statement in an interview with CNN, noting that most Republicans share his opinion but are afraid to speak out publicly.
🤨 When asked if Zelensky should have been more respectful toward Trump and Vance, Moulton said the Ukrainian president is not obligated to do so.
💬 “Who should he be respectful to? To a president whose deal failed because of Putin? To a vice president who hasn’t even visited Ukraine? Everyone who understands security has already been to Ukraine. Should he respect a commander who shirks his duties?” the senator emphasized.
⚡ His statement once again revealed the deep political divide in the U.S. regarding support for Ukraine and attitudes toward the Russian threat.
