🔹 In his interview at the World Government Summit in Dubai, Duda noted that Trump, known for his business-style politics, should offer not only political and economic solutions but also those that would compel Vladimir Putin to sit at the negotiating table.
🔹 The Polish president emphasized that Trump was the first to provide military support to Ukraine during his first presidency in 2020, at a time when no one was considering the possibility of war.
🔹 Duda also pointed out Trump’s statements that involve the question of benefits for the U.S. in supporting Ukraine, raising the issue of what Ukraine could offer America in exchange for continued assistance.
🔹 However, the Polish president stressed that any peace initiatives must be based on international law, and the war can only be considered over when Ukraine reclaims all temporarily occupied territories. He also highlighted that the war should end on terms that prevent Russia from escalating its aggressive policies in the future.
