📌 Members of Parliament from the “European Solidarity” faction delivered 145,000 signatures from Ukrainians opposing sanctions against Petro Poroshenko. According to faction co-chair Iryna Herashchenko, the Office of the President not only refused to register electronic petitions calling for the sanctions to be lifted but also effectively blocked the citizens’ reception office.

🚪 “The public reception office of the OP is locked, no one is there, even though civil service should be working. This is not just about Poroshenko, but about the rule of law—there can be no extrajudicial sanctions in a democratic country,” Herashchenko emphasized.
🚔 Sofiya Fedyna stated that the government “fears the people” and isolates itself from citizens “with police vans and law enforcement,” while the families of prisoners of war are forced to protest to be heard.
⚖️ “Poroshenko won a court case regarding border guards who prevented our team from attending international meetings. But the authorities continue to pressure the opposition,” Herashchenko added.
🇪🇺 Oleg Sinyutka stressed that the fight to lift the sanctions is not just about Poroshenko but about “defending democracy and European freedoms.” Nina Yuzhanina reminded that Poroshenko is “the biggest private donor to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” and that the sanctions decision was signed by the President.
